1. What these terms cover
These terms form the agreement between you and Stavros Pournias, trading as Agora Studio, for a paid one-to-one budget setup session. Drachma is the service brand. Before you pay, I will confirm the proposed session format, duration, price, date or available times, and any included follow-up in writing.
2. What the session is
The service is practical budgeting guidance and, if you want, help setting up Drachma around your own budget. It can include organising income and existing spending, separating regular and irregular costs, setting category targets, planning predictable expenses and building a review routine.
3. What the session is not
The session does not include recommendations about specific investments, pensions, insurance, loans, credit cards, debt-management or debt-restructuring solutions, or other regulated financial products.
If a question moves into an area that requires regulated advice, I may decline to answer it and suggest that you speak to an appropriately authorised professional or specialist service.
4. Booking and payment
- The price is the amount shown to you before payment.
- Unless agreed otherwise, payment is due in advance and the booking is confirmed only after payment is received.
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe. The payment methods available to you are shown on the Stripe checkout page. Drachma does not receive or store your full card details.
- You must provide an email address that can be used for the booking confirmation, meeting link and service messages.
5. Your legal 14-day cooling-off right
If you book online as a consumer, you will normally have a legal 14-day cooling-off period in which you can cancel the service contract.
If you cancel during that period before the service has started, you will receive a full refund.
Any refund due under your statutory cooling-off right will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you tell me that you are cancelling.
This legal right is separate from the additional booking policy in section 7 below.
6. If your session takes place within those 14 days
You do not have to wait 14 days for your session. Before accepting a booking that starts during the cooling-off period, I will obtain your express request to begin early and your acknowledgement that the right to cancel ends once the service has been fully provided. This will be captured in writing, for example by email, and kept with the booking record. Without that written request and acknowledgement, the session will not take place during the cooling-off period.
If the session is then fully completed, your statutory right to cancel that completed service ends, provided the required acknowledgement was given before the service started.
If you cancel during the cooling-off period after the service has started but before it is complete, you may have to pay a reasonable amount for the part of the service already provided, where the law allows this.
7. Our cancellation and rescheduling policy
This is an additional booking policy and does not reduce your statutory rights:
- More than 24 hours before the session: you may cancel for a refund or reschedule without charge.
- Less than 24 hours before the session, or if you do not attend: I will offer a reschedule where reasonably possible. Any deduction from an advance payment will be limited to the direct net loss actually caused by the cancellation, after reasonable steps have been taken to refill the appointment or otherwise reduce the loss. Any remaining balance will be refunded.
- If you arrive late: the session will normally still finish at the scheduled end time.
Refunds agreed under this additional booking policy will normally be issued within 14 days. If a statutory cancellation or refund right gives you greater protection than this policy, the statutory right applies.
Example 1: You book on 1 September for a session on 30 September. You can use your statutory cooling-off right during the first 14 days. After that, this booking policy still lets you cancel or reschedule free of charge until 24 hours before the session.
Example 2: You book on 1 September for a session on 5 September. Because the session is inside the cooling-off period, I will ask you to confirm that you want the service to begin early. Once the session has been fully provided, the statutory right to cancel that completed service ends.
8. If I need to cancel
If I need to cancel or materially reschedule a session, I will offer a new time. If a suitable replacement cannot be agreed, I will refund the amount you paid for that session.
9. Your responsibilities
- You decide what financial information you are comfortable sharing.
- You are responsible for checking that information you provide is accurate enough for the budgeting exercise.
- You remain responsible for your own financial decisions and for deciding whether any budget or target is appropriate for you.
- Please do not send passwords, card numbers, bank login credentials, authentication codes or other security credentials.
10. Privacy, notes and recording
Personal data used to arrange and provide the session is handled in accordance with the Drachma Privacy Policy. Sessions are never recorded by me. Please do not record the session. You may share your screen if you wish, but you control what is visible.
11. Standard of service and outcomes
The service will be provided with reasonable care and skill. Budgeting depends on the information you provide, your circumstances and the choices you make afterwards, so I cannot guarantee a particular saving amount, spending reduction, investment outcome, credit outcome or other financial result.
12. Liability and your statutory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights that cannot legally be excluded, including your rights under consumer law, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or liability for fraud.
I am responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of my breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care and skill. I am not responsible for losses caused by information you supplied that was materially inaccurate or incomplete, or for decisions about regulated financial products that fall outside the scope of this service.
13. Complaints
If you are unhappy with the service, email sessions@getdrachma.app. Please explain what happened and what outcome you are seeking. I will aim to acknowledge the complaint promptly and respond within a reasonable time.
14. Changes to these terms
The terms that apply to your booking are the version provided or linked when you book. Changes made later will not retrospectively alter an existing booking unless required by law or agreed with you.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere, this does not remove any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you under the law of your place of residence.
16. How to cancel
You can cancel by emailing sessions@getdrachma.app with a clear statement that you wish to cancel. You do not have to use the wording below.
